Online Marketing Executive
We are inviting applications from passionate and enthusiastic individuals with the following:
Experience / capabilities
- Able to develop and implement on-line Marketing strategies that reflect and meet commercial objectives
- Excellent knowledge of web optimisation methods used to enable users to find Share & Compare and the information they need (SEO (including Universal Search Optimisation), PPC, Social Marketing et al)
- Strong understanding of Web Technologies and how they can be applied in a commercial environment
- Able to work with Developers to facilitate good SEO and Social Marketing practices from the ground up
- Ability to develop and manage an online presence across a number of commercial channels
- Ability to develop ideas for a specific industry presence across numerous social media channels
- Ability to utilise online PR and news channels from an SMO and SEO perspective
- Interested in the potential of the Social Network effect and preferably experienced in applying in a Commercial environment
- Ability to transform offline marketing presence into online marketing and social strategies
Technical Skills/ Abilities- SEO Development
- PPC
- Experiences user of social channels such as Facebook, Digg, Technorati, Flickr, Twitter (and related applications), Stumbleupon, Reddit, Friendfeed, Youtube, et al)
- Application of Social Marketing in a commercial context Google Analytics or similar web analytic tool
Personal- Passionate about the potential of technology to improve personal and professional lives
- Interested in exploring the possibilities of Social Networks and Communities as forms of decision-making and comparison
- Creative and passionate about enabling people to find and utilise information that enriches lives
- Excellent communicator with ability to engage, educate and inform communities
Qualifications Required (Desirable)- A 2:1 or above Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Technology and Marketing (or something similar)
Other DetailsThe successful candidate will preferably be based in the North West of England although all applications will be considered; we are also open to applications from part-time and Freelance Developers.
Salary is negotiable (depending on experience) and a variety of options are available including Equity incentivised programmes.
